Hey, welcome to my blog and personal site! I'm Mike Robinson and here you can expect to find postings about my daily life, what I am working on as well as whatever I feel I should share with readers.

First, a little about me...

Mike Robinson

I am a 19-year-old student from Scotland studying Internet Software Development. I enjoy making websites, for myself and others, and it is my chosen career path. Currently, I am strongest in XHTML and CSS, but I also use JavaScript/AJAX, PHP with MySQL, ASP with Access, Flash and Photoshop.

Apart from that, I like first-person shooters such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, Unreal Tournament, Medal of Honor, Ghost Recon as well as many others. I am also an MMO player, usually playing World of Warcraft (slowly!) but also checking out Star Wars Galaxies and others. I own an Xbox 360 which is an awesome console, however I am not biased in my choice of gaming platform. I want a good game, no questions asked. I used to attempt to make my own small games, but as I moved more into web development that died out.

I am with my wonderful girlfriend Sasha, who creates amazing artwork which can be seen at her art site. I enjoy listening to progressive rock and some metal or indie here and there. I also like to read and just chill for a bit when things get too much to take!
